Hommikul kui ärkasin,
päkapikku märkasin,
ta läbi olin sõimanud
ja nurka kinni sidunud,
siis tuli ema imestunult,
keha ära kangestunud,
kokutas ja kokutas,
pea peale koputas,
ema arvas et näeb und,
sest kätte jõudnud surmatund,
kuid siis ema aevastas
ja voodist püsti krapsatas,
jooksis ruttu minu tuppa,
lubas kohe ära mu tappa,
kui päkapikule liiga teen,
mis sest et ema muidu peen,
nüüd mõtles ema oh-oh-oo,
kas on ta hulluks läinud,
kas täitunud ta jõulusoov,
et päkapikud käinud.
